How to adjust shutter louvres

If the components of your shutters have dried out due to Perth’s harsh weather, you might notice the louvres falling. You can easily remedy this by tightening the tension screws with a Phillips-head screw driver. Here’s how to do it:

Begin by holding the louvre in place with one hand.

Then, using a phillip-head screwdriver gently tighten the screw that is positioned on the inside panel of the shutter.

Once you feel that the louvres are appropriately tightened, that’s it!

Be careful not to overtighten, as this could lead to the louvres becoming too rigid.

Repeat the same process for any shutter panels that are experiencing the same issue.
