The best of both worlds
Brightwood blends two materials so you never have to compromise. The result is a sleek, modern shutter that suits big windows, sliding doors and French doors alike.

10 Year No Questions Asked Warranty
Every product backed by our comprehensive warranty — no fine print, no hassle.
Sleek and modern
Brightwood is built for contemporary rooms, and InvisibleTilt® keeps it looking the part — the tilt mechanism disappears into the stile for a flush, minimal face with no rod down the middle.
Big, modern openings
Brightwood suits large contemporary spaces — sliding stackers and French doors via the Bi-fold 180 track, wide spans, and custom shapes for arched or angled windows. Clean, modern, made to measure.
A palette without limits
An extensive standard palette with custom paint matching, so Brightwood slips seamlessly into any scheme — from bright coastal whites to moody modern tones.
Frequently Asked
Brightwood is an engineered composite — an Australian-made MDF core wrapped in a patented polypropylene coating. It's purpose-designed to deliver the painted-timber aesthetic with better stability and moisture resistance than solid timber.
Yes. The polypropylene coating makes Brightwood water-resistant and suited to bathrooms, laundries and kitchens. For constantly wet or steamy environments, our consultants may recommend Woodbury, which is fully waterproof.
2.5" suits smaller windows and classic interiors. 3.5" is our most popular — a balanced modern look. 4.5" gives large windows an architectural scale with maximum view through. We'll recommend the right size during consultation.
Brightwood is available in 9 fashionable painted colours — from crisp whites through to warm neutrals and deep charcoals. Samples are brought to your home so you can see each colour in your own light.
From the free measure to installation is typically 6–8 weeks, as every shutter is custom made. The install itself is usually completed in a single day depending on window count.
