Curtains or Blinds? How to choose the right window furnishing
Both have their place. Here's a quick guide to which one suits your space, your light, and your style — written by our consultants who fit them every day.
Choosing between curtains and blinds is one of the most common questions our consultants get on the road. The honest answer? It depends on the room, the light, and the mood you're after.

When curtains win
Curtains soften a room. They absorb sound, layer beautifully with sheers, and add warmth in cooler months. For bedrooms, living rooms and anywhere you want a touch of luxury, full-length curtains are hard to beat. Our blockout linings double as thermal insulation — useful in Perth's hot summers and chilly winter mornings.
When blinds win
Blinds are clean, modern and practical. Honeycomb (cellular) blinds offer some of the best insulation values on the market. Roller blinds in sunscreen fabric let you keep the view while blocking UV. Plantation shutters offer precise light control room-by-room and add real value to a property.
Combining the two
Many of our customers go for both — a roller or honeycomb blind for daily light control, paired with sheers or curtains for evening softness. It's a layered look that's almost impossible to over-do, and we can custom-make tracks and rods that work together cleanly.
